Since every chalkbag is a one-of-a-kind piece, orders are handled through individual requests.
Just send us a message via instagram or through our contact form with your ideas for colors, materials or patches. We’ll go through everything together and shape the design with you.

You can also just come talk to us if you see us around bouldering in Hamburg.

Once the final design is approved, we’ll send you the invoice – so you only pay when everything is fully discussed and finalized.

Custom chalkbags usually start around 130€ depending on materials, patch and individual details.

If you’re looking for special fabrics or more complex designs, we’ll calculate the price individually together with you.

The consultation and design process are completely free of charge.

And if you’re not sure yet, we’re happy to help with inspiration and example combinations of colors, materials and patches.

We only offer bank transfer (prepayment) as a payment method.
Once we’ve agreed on the final design, you’ll receive an invoice with all payment details.

Most of our materials are sourced from local fabric stores and fabric markets in Hamburg.

To ensure consistent quality and a wide selection of colors and materials, we also work with selected suppliers across Germany.

We usually source patches through Etsy, Ebay, or selected suppliers and are happy to help you find a design that fits your style.

You can send us your own ideas, inspirations, colors, themes, or motifs — and together we’ll create a patch and material combination that works perfectly for your chalkbag.

If you already have a specific patch in mind, just send it over and we’ll check if it fits the design and proportions of the bag.

Our chalkbags are made by boulderers, for boulderers — built from real climbing experience and designed with functionality in mind.

One thing that always bothered us about many chalkbags: they tip over easily or feel unstable while climbing. That’s why we developed our own pattern design to create a stable, upright shape — whether you’re climbing indoors or outside on rock.

Every chalkbag is handmade with care in our small Hamburg sewing studio and customized to your ideas — a unique piece built to be part of your climbing sessions for a long time.

We developed our closure system to make handling your chalkbag as easy and practical as possible during climbing sessions.

🧲Magnetic closure:
During your session, you can quickly open and close the chalkbag with magnets. Two loops at the top allow you to adjust the opening easily — no annoying fumbling while climbing.

 🎒Seasack-style closure:
After your session, the chalkbag can be closed like a classic drybag:

🔹Roll the reinforced top edge down two times
🔹Clip the carabiner into the D-ring — done.

In addition, every chalkbag features a spacious front pocket with a water-resistant zipper for your phone, keys, tape & other essentials.

Every elbgrip chalkbag comes with a Fidlock magnetic clip on the back.

It allows you to securely attach not only standard climbing brushes, but also larger brushes or other essentials — and remove them again easily with one hand.

Since every chalkbag is custom made and individually handcrafted for you, returns and exchanges are generally excluded.

That’s why we take the time beforehand to go through all details together — from fabrics and colors to patches and features — so you know exactly what you’ll get.

We ship all chalkbags with DHL, insured and including tracking.
As soon as your chalkbag is on its way, you’ll receive a tracking number from us.
